I recently visited Tangy Café and it was such a lovely little spot. The café itself is super cute and cozy, and everything tasted really fresh. I tried their turkey sandwich and one of their pistachio treats, and both were so good! I also highly recommend the strawberry hojicha cold latte — it was incredibly refreshing and delicious. They were even happy to make mine with less ice and oat milk, which I really appreciated. A bonus is how kind the staff are. When I was leaving, one of them even held the door for me, which was such a small but thoughtful gesture. Overall, such a sweet experience — I’ll definitely be coming back! 😊
Visited this cafe today and it exceeded my expectations. Ordered matcha latte and honestly the best I had in Toronto so far. My husaband said their strawberry hojicha latte tasted interesting but was good. What made this cafe even better was the staff. Everyone was so warm, welcoming and kind. This cafe is definitely worth a visit.
I ordered the Iced Espresso Romano because the photo looked so good! I didn't know what it was so I searched it up on Google. Probably most people don't know though because the barista/owner barista made sure I understood it would be extra fruity since they make the lemon syrup in house! He also said he will put less ice in it, probably because it's cold outside. The Iced Espresso Romano is indeed very fruity with a strong lemon taste, which I love. I also got an Iced Americano for my partner and he said it was pretty good, better than most he has had. The espresso leans on the dark side so it's more to his taste while I prefer lighter blends, but the citrus and sweetness from my drink helps to make it feel more balanced. Owner/staff are super nice! The environment is comfortable and cute with handmade artists' crafts. The baked goods looked amazing so I will have to try them sometime! Also, they are Taiwanese so they can speak Mandarin and are extra friendly!! ❤️ (I clearly have a bias as a Taiwanese person lol)
If i ever wanted some quality coffee around the area, Tangy is my go to cafe. Their service is perfect. Upon entering the shop, you will be greeted warmly by the staff. They never rush you or give you a face to show impatient. And when the drink is ready, they give it to you in such a polite way, sometimes they ever came out to open the door for you. Drinks. Their coffee are more in the nutty side which I enjoyed a lot. Its perfectly blended, smooth n rich. I tried their bakery too. It was not too sweet, I think it was on the spot for sweetness. The only down side is they only had limited space to sit. Like 1 to 2 seats only. So best to get take out..
Had a great experience here! I ordered a sparkling Americano and a Spanish latte—both were absolutely delicious. The girl at the counter was super sweet and took the time to explain everything in detail. She also helped reduce the sugar in my Spanish latte, which I really appreciated. Both drinks turned out amazing. Great service and vibes—will definitely come back!
Love Tangy Cafe! The customer service here is excellent! They always greet you when you walk in, help with recommendations, and make sure to say goodbye as you leave. They've added several new drinks recently, including seasonal specials, as well as a dirty matcha and hoicha latte. Their pastries are made fresh daily and are absolutely delicious. The coffee never disappoints it's strong and full of flavor. The hojicha | ordered wasn't powdery at all and had a rich taste. I liked that they didn't had too much syrup but you could still taste the strawberry b The only downside is the size of the café. It's quite small, with just a tiny table that seats two, so it's mainly suited for takeout. I'd definitely visit more often if there were more seating, since |love having a coffee spot where I can also study.
Just wow😇 For the 1st time I wanted to give review so happily. The customer service is just wow. No matter how busy the shop is once you open the door they will greet you so nicely. I had motcha its so good. I was so impressed and will go back and forth. They have the point system and if you buy 10 item you will get free. They have so digitalize everything its feel so good. I am really happy by them and their food.
Found this café by searching on Google Maps — there are quite a few options in the mall, and I picked this one based on the reviews. Glad I did! I ordered a latte and it tasted really good — smooth, well-balanced, and nicely made. The only small downside is that the cup is a bit small. I honestly wish they offered a larger size because it’s so good you want more. One thing I really appreciated: even with the lid on, you could tell there was latte art underneath. That kind of attention to detail shows how much care they put into each cup. The shop itself is quite small, with very limited seating — only a couple of spots to wait, so it’s more of a grab-and-go place. The owner (I believe she might be Taiwanese) is very gentle and friendly, with a really warm presence. They also have some desserts on display that look very tempting, though the prices feel a bit on the higher side. Overall, a cozy little spot with great coffee — I’d definitely come back!
Always love going here! Their coffee + pastries are delicious and not too sweet. The pistachio croffin is my go-to, but I got to try the black sesame bread recently and its amazing! Very nice people.
Came right before closing time and all the pastries were already sold out 😭 The owner was super friendly and welcoming. The shop also has lots of cute random little trinkets around, which adds charm to the space. 👉 Plum Vinegar Fizz ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ ($5.5) This is truly vinegar. Real fruit vinegar energy 😅 Slight funky fermented smell but actually pretty refreshing. A little sweet for me, but if you like apple cider vinegar drinks you would probably enjoy this. 👉 Apple Pie Latte ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (around $6.3) Pretty good. Strong apple flavor with a sweetness level that feels just right when ordered less sweet. Overall enjoyable and not overly artificial tasting.
